Objective The accuracy and clinical application value to investigate and contrast of lumbar disc herniation in patients with MRI and CT in diagnosis of. Methods 136 cases of lumbar in our hospital in June 2014 during 2013 to May were disc herniation patients, were treated with MRI and CT examination, then the results were compared with the operation confirmed through data, in order to observe the two groups of protrusion of the intervertebral disc, free and vacuum like and detection rate of intervertebral disc bulge and prolapse the. Results The detection rate was 100% in MRI group of patients with protrusion of intervertebral disc, free a^ad vacuum like, bulging disc and prolapse of the detection rates were 94.5% and 91.6%, were significandy higher than that in CT group positive rate (respectively 92.5%, 88.8%, 70.59%, 86.49% and 83.33%), comparing the two groups of the above indexes, has obvious the difference (P〈0.05), there were statistical significance. MRI group, the total positive rate was 97.73%, significantly higher than that in CT group (87.50%), two of the total detection rate of contrast group, with significant differences (X2=2.114, P〈0.05). Conclusions For the patients with lumbar disc herniation, using MRI with advantages of high detection rate, suitable to be clinical cases diagnosed in CT can not, the diagnosis of this, the two examination methods can complement each other in clinical diagnosis, so as to improve the detection rate of lumbar disc herniation.
