摘要
索尔·贝娄创作的小说表现出了多种文化背景。通过分析索尔·贝娄的生活经历,不难发现他的创作思路与犹太文化、美国文化和欧洲文化有着密切的联系。这也是贝娄小说的文化源头。探讨与研究索尔·贝娄小说创作的文化源头的同时,也尝试探究其小说的文化品质。
Saul Bellow＇s novels display his thoughts and experiences, and represent a variety of cultural backgrounds. By making an analysis of Saul Bellow＇s life experiences, it is not difficult for us to find that his creative ideas and changes are closely linked with the Jewish culture, American and European culture, which are the cultural sources of Saul Bellow＇s novels. This article makes a research and discussion on his cultural source of Saul Bellow＇s novel creation from the three aspects and at the same time, tries to explore the cultural quality of his novels.
