摘要
利用江苏省第三期妇女社会地位调查数据,检验了教育与身心健康的关系及其内在影响机制。总体上教育能够显著改善人们的身心健康;教育水平越高,身体健康状况越好;但教育与精神健康呈倒U型关系。教育通过提升人们收入水平、改变生活方式等间接影响身心健康状况;作为正式社会交往的社团参与是沟通教育与精神健康的重要中介;但对身体健康产生消极影响,且调节作用不显著。教育导致劳动力市场分割,造成经济地位、生活方式和社会交往等分化,致使健康不平等的再生产。
Base on the data from the third Jiangsu survey on the social status of women, this study discusses the impact of individuals' education on their physical and mental health. The results show that in general, education improves the physical and mental health. The higher the education level, the better the physical health status. The relationship between education and mental health is following the inverted "U" shaped assumption. Education through improving the individual' s income and shaping healthy lifestyle indirect affect the individual' s physical and mental health. Community participation is an important intermediary factor of education im- pacting mental health. But it has negative impact on physical health, and the moderating effect is not significant. The author thinks that education leads to the labor market segmentation and causes social and economic status, way of life and social interaction differentiate, which repro- duces health inequalities.
