摘要
新制度主义理论把组织适应制度环境的行为称为追求合法性,并以此解释组织趋同。运用新制度主义理论的合法性机制可以对高校趋同化现象做出合理的解释。然而,理论上的合理解释不能掩盖高校趋同化发展与高校办学多样化的现实要求相悖的事实。要突破新制度主义理论下的合理解释,组织理论中的组织合法性可以成为进一步探讨高校趋同化、寻求改善策略的新思路。
In the theory of new institutionalism, homogenization of organizations is attributed to their compliance with institutional environments, which, academically, has been considered as pursuit of "legitimacy". In theory, only from the view of legality mechanism can offer a reasonable explanation to homogenization of universities, which actually is quite an irrational phenomenon for its divergence from the diverse running requirements of China's higher education. The contradiction urges us to break through the explanation by institutional legitimacy and turn to the organizational legitimacy for deeper understanding and resolution to homogenization of China's universities.
