伊尹的姓氏得自洛阳伊河。伊尹躬耕的"有莘之野"当在今天伊河上游洛阳市下辖的栾川县、嵩县一带。在灭夏兴商斗争中,伊尹的作用主要表现在间夏兴商、助汤作战、迁都西亳和佐汤建制等方面。伊尹放逐太甲而复立之,死后受到天子之礼的待遇。毛泽东认为伊尹是可法之人。
The surname of YI Yin originated had toiled on should be bounded with today from Yi River of Luoyang. The ＂wild field of Youxin＂ where YI Yin ＇ s Luanchuan County and Songxian County on the upper part of Yi Riv- er of Luoyang. During the war to eliminate the Xia Dynasty and to establish the Shang Dynasty, YI Yin＇ s main role was to offer schemes and help Tang fight the war, to move the capital to Xibo and assist Tang to construct the sys- tems, etc. YI Yin expelled emperor Taijia to upgrade his morality and ability and restored his crown years later. YI Yin was ritually treated as emperor when he died. MAO Ze-dong thought that YI Yin should be treated as a model to respect.
