摘要
以上海为中心的长三角城市群是世界第六大城市群,是中国经济最发达区域,上海是国际金融中心和航运中心,在开发浦东后,上海迫切需要跨过长江发展,成为布局在长江入海口两岸的世界级国际大都市。南通作为长江入海口北岸城市,沪通铁路和沪通长江大桥的建设,将对南通区位条件变革和社会经济发展产生极大影响,并使南通发展迎来千载难逢的历史机遇。设立沪通长江大桥开发区则是谋划南通新发展的大课题。
The city cluster with Shanghai as its hub in the Yangtze River Delta is the world＇s sixth largest one and also one of the most developed regions in China. Moreover,Shanghai is an international financial center and shipping hub. After it has developed the Pudong District,Shanghai has an urgent need to develop areas across the Yangtze River,become an international metropolis connecting both banks in the estuary of the Yangtze River. Nantong City,located on the north bank at the estuary of the Yangtze River,will be greatly affected by Shanghai-Nantong railway and highway bridge on the Yangtze River as far as its location factors and social and economic development are concerned. The railway and highway bridge will usher in a rare chance for the development of Nantong City,therefore,the establishment of Shanghai-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge Development Zone is an important issue which cannot be neglected in order to develop Nantong City further.
