Status and Development of Three-Dimensional Display Technology

摘要 生活在三维环境中的人类长期以来都在为真实再现现实世界而不懈地努力。本研究介绍了两类三维显示技术——双目视差三维显示和真三维显示,描述每一类显示技术下的各种具体显示方式对应的机理与特点,阐述这些技术目前存在的主要问题与研究现状。并突出介绍数字全息三维显示技术,在追溯数字全息三维显示技术发展简史的基础上,重点分析了数字全息三维显示技术的显示原理和优缺点,并对国内外各研究机构与企业的研究成果与发展趋势进行探讨。 Human beings living in a three-dimensional environment have made efforts in achieving a true representation of the real world. Two kinds of three-dimensional display technologies including binocular disparity display and true three-dimensional display were introduced. The principles and features of various specific display ways corresponding to every technology were presented. The main issues and research status of these technologies were described. Among these technologies, digital holography is known as the most promising technology because the complete information of an object field can be recorded and the object can be reconstructed in true. The development history of digital holography was described. The display fundaments, advantages and disadvantages were analyzed in detail on digital holography. The research achievements and developing trends of research institutes and companies at home and abroad were discussed.
