摘要
针对前沿制造技术——3D打印,介绍该技术在艺术首饰领域的应用现状与前景,重点分析和归纳了首饰艺术家使用3D打印技术的创作方法。本文以案例分析为主要研究方法,结合当代艺术创作理论与艺术家访谈,提出3D打印及CAD技术在艺术首饰领域的两种不同创作思路的应用方式:技术的视觉特征转化为形式语言与技术作为传统工艺的替代手段。探讨了主流人机交互界面对该技术作为设计艺术工具的不利影响,并介绍了相关的研究进展。3D打印结合CAD技术已经重新定义了"手工艺",随着技术的不断发展,它将成为更加实用的艺术首饰创作手段。
Based on author＇s experiences of using 3D printing, this paper addresses 3D print- ing technology and its impacts on contemporary art jewelry. The case study shows two appli- cation methods of this technology, developing its idiosyncrasies as formal elements, and em- ploying CAD/3D printing as an alternative tool to traditional methods. The drawback of the graphic user interface （GUI） for craft practices, a problem related to CAD, is also dis- cussed. CAD/3D printing has redefined the notion of ＂handcraft＂, and the constructive in- teraction between technology and art will promote CAD/3D printing as a more practical means for jewelry artists.
