摘要
以百万词的"商务英语语料库"为依托,通过语境共现分析的语料库技术,对商务英语主题词BID的搭配特征进行研究。研究结果显示,商务英语主题词不仅表现出其特殊的词义和特定的搭配,而且不同的搭配型式都蕴含着重要的商务信息。因此,基于语料库的商务英语词语搭配分析,不仅能帮助学习者和研究者扩充商务英语词汇知识,还可以加深他们对商务文本的理解。
This paper examines the collocational features of the keyword BID found in the business context by using a one-million word corpus of business English. The result shows that the keyword has specific collocations with unique lexical meanings in the business context and therefore different business information may be encoded in these collocations. This study implies that a corpus-based analysis of business English keywords not only helps learners and researchers improve the knowledge of business vocabulary, but also enables them to better understand the texts in the business context.
