China and Brazil belong to eastern and western hemisphere respectively and with a distance as far as tens of thousands of kilometers apart, yet the friendly exchanges between two countries has not been impeded by the great ocean. In the past 40 years since China and Brazil established diplomatic relations, both sides have conducted considerable fruitful cooperation in areas including technology, agriculture and energy, which have been hailed as the ＂＇model of South- South cooperation＂.
