Objective To analyze of the relationship between cardiovascular drug treatment and cancer risk. Methods 15512 patients with cardiovascular disease were divided into angiotensin II(Ang II)type 1 receptor blocker drugs group(3257 cases),ezetimibe group(2364 cases),statinsgroup(2832 cases),diuretic group(2571 cases),thienopyridine group(2504),placebo group(1984).All patients were followed up for 3 years. The relationship between cardiovascular drugs and tumor was analyzed. Results In the Ang II group, there were 78 cases,135 cases and 231 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3 years. In ezetimibe group, there were 53 cases,112 cases and 185 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3 years. In statin group, there were 22 cases,46cases and 79 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3years.In diuretic group, there were 25 cases,61 cases and 112 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3 years. In prasugrel groups, there were 13 cases,31 cases and 59 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3 years. In placebo group, there were 21 cases,52 cases and 83 cases occurred tumors at the end of 1 year,2 years and 3 years. Conclusion We found that angiotensin II type 1 receptor blocker,Ezetimibe for M drugs can increase the tumor incidence, statins, prasugrel reduced tumor incidence, and diuretic drug use have no significant correlation with cancer risk.
