The characteristics and advantages of the SEVAN650 uhra-deepwater cylindrical drilling unit are introduced. The design and implementation of the DP3 dynamic control system, integrated electrical control and power management system, drill- ing control system, telecommunication and navigation system are discussed about in order to give a design sample for the engi- neering of similar drilling unit.
