Objective To analyze the clinical value of continuous positive airway pressure(CPAP) in the treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) complicating hypertension. Methods 80 cases of OSAHS patients with hypertension treated in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2014 were randomly divided into observation group(40 cases) and control group(40cases). The observation group was given Auto-CPAP ventilator for treating, while the control group was only given oral antihypertensive drug therapy. The treatment effect of two groups was compared and analyzed. Results After treatment, the sleep apnea hypopnea index(AHI) of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group, the lowest Sp O2 of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). After 3 months and 6 months of treatment, the systolic and diastolic pressure of patients in observation group were significantly lower than those of patients in control group, with statistically significant difference(P 0.05). Conclusions CPAP can effectively improve the respiratory status and blood pressure of OSAHS patients complicating hypertension with significant clinical efficacy, which deserves promotion.
