在金庸小说的主人公系列里,韦小宝是压轴登场而又令人倍感亲切的人物。他来自民间,武功平平,却能靠智慧闯过无数的难关,乃至于立下千秋之功业。同时,韦小宝也是一个颇受争议的文学形象,他人小鬼大,机变狡猾,为达目的有时不择手段,却能逢凶化吉,屡创佳绩,尽天时、地利、人和之妙用。金庸先生不是用简单的二元对立思维来写的,他的小说艺术高明在这里。韦小宝恰恰就是这样的人。韦小宝没上过学、没知识、没文化,但他却有能耐、有才华,比上过学的人还能干,他上的是最为广博的社会大学。其实中国古代大多数民众都没有什么学历文凭,社会也不要求,只要有一技之长,能够养家糊口,为社会做一点贡献就行了。最重要的是在普普通通的人生细节中,启发自己、开悟自己,获得一种人生的"活"的源泉。
From the series of leading protagonists of Jinrong's novels,Wei Xiaobao has made the finale debut,but he makes us feel intimate and cordial. He comes from the ordinary people,and his kongfu is very average mediocre,but by his shrewd wisdom he overcame and conquered lots of obstacles,and finally made contributions to long- lasting enterprise. Meanwhile,Wei Xiaobao is a rather controversial literary figure,his little figure can't hide his wicked ideas and tricks,he is crafty, cunning and sly and swift to change his mind according to the circumstances. Sometimes in order to achieve his ideal,he will try every means, and turns the ill luck into the good ones and often reaps the remarkable achievements, taking full advantage of the favorable climate,geographical position and support of the people. Mr. Jinrong didn't write novels according to the fixed binary opposition, this is where he excels and distinguishes from others. Wei Xiaobao is just like this. He has never gone to any school,he has no knowledge and the cultural cultivation,but he has the ability, talents, and he is much more capable and competent than those who receives the normal education,what Wei Xiaobao has ever attended is the most important school — that's a real university! Actually,most of our laboring people in the feudal society didn't own the advanced academic diplomas, at that time, the society didn't have such requirement,you only need to have professional skills to bring home the bread and make some contributions to our society! The most important thing is that those very ordinary life details always inspire and enlighten ourselves. Only in this way can we get the real living fountain of our lives!
