摘要
《忧郁的热带》是克洛德·列维-斯特劳斯惟一的非学术著作,一经问世即风靡整个法国。这本书在语言、内容、哲思上的魅力至今不衰,成为人类学圈子必读的经典。就国内读者的阅读现况来看,对《忧郁的热带》的盛赞多于研读,攀附性热爱多于内省式兴趣,片断式引用多于整体性审视,从而导致对该书的写作背景、作者情怀、语言风格、学术隐喻等不予深究的肤浅化阅读倾向。就笔者的阅读体验而言,《忧郁的热带》一书可从"过渡仪式""热带忧郁""诗性语言""窥见结构"四个维度加以解读,或可在一定程度上把握列维-斯特劳斯诗性与学术交错的著书生涯。
Tristes Tropiques is the only non -academic work by Claude Levi -Strauss. It swept the whole France instantly soon after its publication in 1955. The charisma of its language, contents and thoughts remains on the glory trial for long years that it has become a classic work of required reading in an- thropological circle. But it is presumed to be not optimistic to domestic readers in reading this book because readers hold more admirations than study, more superficial love than introspective interest, more fragmentar- y adoption than holistic examination, which has resulted in the ignorance of its background, author＇ s feel- ings and thoughts, language style and academic metaphor. As far as the present author＇ s reading experi- ence is concerned, Tristes Tropiques can be interpreted from the four dimensions： passage rite, triste, poetic language and inclination of structure.
