In the world of thought of Confucius, the virtue 'Cautious Sayings'is inseparable with 'live up to one's words'and 'sincere advice'. It not only meets the practical needs to avoid some faults, to form a harmonious interpersonal relationship, and to gain recognition from rulers, but also reflects one self's moral conduct, and serves as an inner demand of improving oneself as well as fulfillment of one's kindheartedness.
