摘要
莫言的作品立足故乡,其丰富的中国色彩,对于外国读者来说具有独特的异域风情。而承载这一切的中国符号由于其与西方文化的巨大差异性给译者带来一定的困难,特别是源语言中大量的俗语,如何在另一种语言中使其再生,成为译者及读者关注的焦点及难点。释意派理论强调以意义为中心,翻译活动为剥离语言物质外壳的能动活动。这一理论将俗语意义的传递变为可能。以释意派理论为指导,以《丰乳肥臀》法译本中俗语意义传递的过程及结果为切入点,探究翻译过程中对中国俗语处理的策略及得失。
Based on his own life experiences in the hometown,Mo Yan makes his novel rich Chinese local cultural characteristics for foreign readers. At the same time,due to the huge differences in culture,Chinese symbols,especially the folk adage in the source language,bring some difficulties to translators,which become a translator's focus and readers' difficulties. The sense-based theory emphasizes the significance centric,and considers the language translation activities as the dynamic action by deverbalisation. This theory makes folk adage information transmission possible. Guided by sense- based theory,starting with the folk adage translation in Beaux Seins,Belles Fesses,the paper explored the success and failure in the translation strategies of Chinese folk languages.
