Permanent magnet synchronous lift machine’s theory is introduced in paper, the reasons that permanent magnet synchronous lift can use the brake to serve as the ascending car overspeed protection means are analyzed in detail, the testing items and methods of permanent magnet synchronous lift machine are discussed, at last, the demagnetization’ s serious consequences of permanent magnet of lift machine are studied, and the advices for selecting permanent magnet synchronous lift machine are presented.
