Application of probiotics in studies of type 1 diabetes: research progress

摘要 1型糖尿病作为一种胰岛素依赖性的代谢紊乱综合征,不仅与遗传性内因有关,也与能量和饮食失衡以及肠道微生物等环境性外因有关。而益生菌作为一种环境因素,可能影响宿主的肠道菌群组成、肠道结构完整性、影响其代谢和免疫,从而起到延缓或预防1型糖尿病的作用。由此,本研究在总结1型糖尿病动物模型种类、相关发病机制、疾病表型及其应用的基础上,综述十几年来益生菌作为环境性外因应用于1型糖尿病动物实验和临床试验研究中的进展。 Type 1 diabetes, as a kind of insulin-dependent metabolic syndrome, is correlated not only with endoge- nous genetic factors, but also with exogenous environmental factors, such as imbalance of energy, diet and gut mi- crobiota. Probiotics, as an environmental factor, might influence the composition of gut microbiota, the structural integrity of the hosts' gut, affecting hosts' metabolism and immunity, thus might delay or prevent the development of type 1 diabetes. This paper reviewed the progress made in the last decade in the application of probiotics as an exogenous environmental factor in animal experiments and clinical trials of type 1 diabetes, based on the summary of animal models of type 1 diabetes, the related pathogenesises, phenotypes and applications.
