Status analysis of nanoscience and nanotechnology development by the bibliometrics

摘要 采用文献计量学的方法,利用Web of Science数据库,以2003~2013年纳米科技领域发表的论文为科学指标,定量分析了纳米科技领域的研究水平、发展态势、研究热点等趋势和特征,并针对我国纳米科技的发展现状以及在全球的国际地位进行了全面剖析.结果显示我国纳米科技发展迅速,发文量逐年快速增长,但在篇均被引频次、高影响因子学术期刊上的发文量、高质量论文等方面与美国等发达国家仍有一定差距.一些国际关注的焦点,如药物递送、结构纳米材料等方向应在我国加大研究力度.研究结果可为我国前沿科技发展战略和决策提供科学依据. Based on the published papers in nanotechnology from 2003 to 2013, we quantitatively analyzed the current status of nanotechnology development from different aspects including fundamental research, technology development, hotspots and other characteristics of the development trends by using bibliometric methods. We also performed the comprehensive analyses to compare the domestic and international status of the nanotechnology development. The results provided the scientific basis for the decision-maker in making the national strategy for frontier nanotechnologies. The results showed that the nanotechnology development in China was rapid, the annual publications increased dramatically. Nevertheless, compared with United States and some European countries, China still has a gap in the average citation per paper, the number of publications in top journals, the high quality publications, etc. In addition, the research on the some subtopics that were hot topics in United States and Europe were not enough in China, like drug delivery, structural nanomaterials, etc. The present findings might provide scientific bases for China's decision-making for the frontiers in sciences and nanotechnology development.
