This paper introduces the definition of the generator voltage adjustable rate and the system require-ments for differential features of generator set,states reactive power allocation principle among parallel opera-tion of generating units,analyzes the setting principle and calculation of the generator voltage adjustable rate(differential coefficient) in detail,and discusses the conversion of differential coefficient based on the differentbase value.It provides the basis for the setting calculation of power plant generator voltage adjustable rate.
