摘要
《飞天》中的主人公齐兹不是在现实社会中依靠白人的力量找到身份根源,而是借助神奇的时空之旅跨越种族的隔阂,在历经各种窘境之后完成了身份形成过程。这表明文化的杂糅和变革在身份缺失者重新把握文化身份中发挥着举足轻重的作用,同时也启示人们要用发展和积极的眼光看待民族文化和主流社会的关系,要在继承和批判的基础上吸取其他文化,重构文化身份,不断探索新的生存之路。
Flight is one of the Indian writer Sherman Alexie＇s four novels. The protagonist Zits completed his identity formation after magical travel and role change,which implied the vital effect of combination and change on rebuilding the culture identity. The work also reminds readers that a developmental and positive view should be applied on the relationship between ethnic culture and mainstream society. Absorbing other cultures and cultural identities on the basis of inheritance and criticism,and exploring a new way for the survival of Indian people.
