'To standardize the legends'is a slogan proposed by local folk elites. They go with the flow of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and try to adapt their original legends overall in order to glorify the moral image of their deities. They are inclined getting close to the positive value of the prevailing main stream culture with strong confidence. They are also full of moral responsibility and the sense of mission for local development and always repress those diverse oral texts with sufficient reason. Based on the legends about the temple of Little Aunt in Taking the Aunt Back,we will analyze the various behavior of folk elites about adapting legends. Through a historical review,we will find that this theory and practice is not just born from the flow of intangible cultural heritage. It is more inherent and persistent while reveals most obviously in the time of intangible cultural heritage.
