摘要
王兆荣一生致力于中国的科学文化事业。早年他参与创建中华学艺社,并始终为学社之骨干,积极参与学社的各项事务,为其持久发展立下了汗马功劳。为培养社会需要的科教人才,王兆荣发起创办学艺大学,并先后担任学艺大学校长、学艺中学校长。由他提出的有关发展中国科学研究及教育的一些观点,至今仍具有借鉴意义。
Wang Zhaorong devoted all his life to the Chinese scientifi c and cultural cause. He participated in establishing the Science & Art Society of China in his early years and made great contributions to its long lasting development as a mainstay all the time by being actively involved in various activities of the Society. In order to cultivate scientifi c and educational talents for society, he initiated the Xueyi University and served as the headmaster of the university and of the Xueyi Middle School successively. His opinions about Chinese academic and educational development are still of signifi cance at present.
