摘要
一部优秀的文学作品(特别是小说)中的人物和景物意象都非常丰富,而成功的意象或意象群在内涵上会引人深思,因此具备极高的审美价值。如何在翻译转换中保留意象的审美功能和阅读美感,是译者必须考虑的首要问题。小说《了不起的盖茨比》中的人物和景物意象大都带有多重审美意蕴。从翻译美学角度对其中的人物意象与景物意象的翻译加以研究,利于深入探讨小说中意象翻译的审美再现问题,为意象翻译研究提供借鉴。
An excellent literary work, especially a novel, has many fi gure images and scene images that are thought-provoking in meanings, so they have great aesthetic value. How to represent these images＇ aesthetic value and aesthetic sense of reading becomes a translator＇s important study subject. The Great Gatsby is full of fi gure and scene images with deep meanings, so the study of its image translation from perspective of Translation Aesthetics is helpful for the study of image aesthetic representation and useful for image translation study.
