摘要
作为高清视频传输领域的新型技术,巨帧传输加剧了网络延迟动态性,使得传统时延测量方法很难准确估计往返时间。提出了一种探测包长可变的往返时延测量方法:测量初期,确定保证超时定时器稳定工作的增益系数和偏差权重系数范围;测量期间,根据包长动态设定这两个系数。该方法使得超时定时器能反映时延的动态性,提高定时准确性,减少不必要的重传。实验表明该方法可在巨帧网络中有效测量往返时延。
As a new transmission technology of high-definition video, jumbo frame aggravates network delay dynamic condition and makes traditional delay measurement difficult. A round trip time t method based on probe packets with dynamic size is proposed: at initial phase, the gain coefficient and deviation coefficient ranges of timeout timer are calculated; then, these two coefficients are set with packet size. This method makes timeout timer catch the delay variance accurately, and the unnecessary retransmissions can be decreased. Experiment shows this method can work in network configured with jumbo frame efficiently.
