摘要
亚里士多德在《形而上学》第5卷第7章探讨了to on的含义。在相关研究和解释中,人们假定了一个前提:to on有存在含义,因而给解释亚里士多德的相关论述造成很大问题。如果不预设这一前提,这些问题本来是可以不出现的。亚里士多德关于to on含义的解释,基于他对希腊文einai一词的具体用法和基本句式的认识,基于他的范畴理论和四谓词理论。正确地理解他的相关论述,不仅有助于我们更好地理解他关于to on的看法,而且有助于我们更好地理解他的形而上学思想。
In the interpretation of D7 of Metaphysics,where Aristotle dealt with the sense of TO ON,a presupposition that TO ON had a sense of existence which held and involves the interpretation with many problems,which would not appear without holding the presupposition.Aristotles explanation of the sense of TO On was closely linked with his understanding of the basic and concrete use of the Greek verb EINAI on one hand,and of the basic sentence form with EINAI as a copula on the other.His explanation in question was important for our understanding not only of the sense of the word itself,but also of his metaphysics.And for us,there is another significance for our understanding and translation,as TO ON,or Being,is one of the few key words in Western Philosophy,including both in Ancient Greek and in the history as a whole.
