摘要
赛珍珠《大地》等小说具有明显的中西文化双重属性,表明了作者的中国体验对其写作的重要影响。除了作者经历被多元作用的实际情形,文本是否反映中国式的情感意绪、价值观念及其程度、方式,应是研究者优先也是重点考量的因素,它直接关系到中国文学边界的划分。赛珍珠与中国文学的关系,提示了对不同身份作家的中国叙事进行文化意义辨识的必要性。作为主流现代汉语文学以外的形态,一些充分反映了作者中国现代性建构和想象的外语创作,拓展了中国现代文学的边界,在多元文化日益交汇的当下,尤其值得正视。
Pearl S.Buck＇s The Good Earth and other novels have obvious dual attributes of Chinese and western cultures,which reveals a significant impact of the author＇s experience in China on her writing.In addition to the actual circumstances of the diverse experiences of the author,factors like whether the text is intended to reflect the Chinese-style feelings and threads of emotions,the values and the style should be researchers＇ priorities and focus of consideration,since they are directly related to the characterization of the boundaries of Chinese literature.Pearl S.Buck＇s relationship with Chinese literature reveals the need for the identification of cultural significance of the narratives about China from authors of different identities.As a form outside the mainstream of modern Chinese literature,some works in foreign languages that fully reflect the authors＇ construction and imagination of China＇s modernism,expand the boundaries of modern Chinese literature.They are particularly worth serious attention,especially at the present moment when diverse cultures tend to fuse.
