摘要
以39所"985工程"高校的图书馆馆长为研究对象,分析他们的教育背景和职业背景。研究发现39位馆长都具有高学历、高职称,受到良好的大学教育,学科背景多元化,职业背景较单一,据此为高校图书馆馆长的选拔和培养提出建议。
Based on a survey of the educational and professional background of the ＂958 Project＂ Universities Librarians,the paper gives out the findings as following： university librarians generally have higher education degree and professional titles, subject to a good college education, diversified academic background and a single professional background. According to the findings,the author makes recommendations for the selection and training of university librarians.
