摘要
文化的时代性是古典文化史的考察重点。古典文化史注重精英文化而无视普通人的生活,强贴时代标签而忽略文化的多样性。新文化史扭转了这一局面。它顺应二战后人文社科领域"文化转向"的趋势,吸收了"自下而上"的社会史研究思想,借鉴人类学等其他学科成果,形成独特的研究范式——以文化及其意义为对象,开展跨学科研究,以讲故事的方式从事微观考察,从而拓展了史学研究领域,在欧美国家掀起了一场史学理论与方法的革新运动。然而新文化史也存在弊端,如探讨对象的不明晰、研究取向的碎片化、客观历史的否定性,遇到了发展的瓶颈。另外,新文化史传入中国后,与社会史相结合,被称为社会文化史,仍有待于深入挖掘。
Contemporary spirit is the main concern in the history of classical culture,which focuses on the elite culture instead of the lives of common people or the diversity of culture.However,in conformance with the trend of cultural turn in the humanity and social science fields after the Second World War,taking in the top-down research method in social history and learning from the researches of anthropology as well as other fields,the new cultural history reverses this complexion and forms a special research paradigm,which conducts interdisciplinary studies and makes microinvestigation in the form of story-telling with the culture and its significance as research objects.Consequently it expands the research field of history and develops an innovation movement on the theory and method in historiography in Europe and the United States.However,the New Cultural History has its drawbacks,such as vague research objects,the fragmented research orientation and the negativity in the objective history.In addition,since the new cultural history was introduced into China,it has combined with the social history and is called social cultural history,which has more research space in the future.
