摘要
根敦群培作为20世纪藏族最伟大的启蒙思想家之一,在西藏近现代史上第一次对科学和佛教的关系进行了独特的思考和较为系统的探讨;简要回顾了科学和宗教在近代以来的复杂斗争史;深刻批判了传统西藏之正统高僧对科学的拒斥和抵制态度;深入阐述了科学对于人类社会生活乃至包括佛教内在的宗教自身的积极意义,并在此基础上展望了科学和佛教在将来的西藏能够和谐相处,进而造福社会民众的美好前景。
As one of the greatest Tibetan Enlightenment thinkers in the twentieth century,Gedun Chophel firstly made a unique reflection and systematic investigation on the relationship between science and Buddhism;briefly reviewed the complicated struggle between religion and science in the mordern times;profoundly criticized orthodox monks for their rejection significance perspectives, Gedun science for huamn Chophel predicted Tibet in the future,and thus a better life and even that science and future for the and the resistence towards science ; deeply religion including Buddhism. Based expounded on those Buddhism would be able to exist in harmony in community.
