摘要
龙舟竞渡流传地域广泛,历史悠久,其起源众说纷纭。佛山多水多雨的特殊地理环境和自然条件,导致佛山的水神信仰非常兴盛,龙神是佛山十分重要的水神。龙为司水之神,要想风调雨顺、五谷丰收、蚕丰鱼肥,就得祭祀龙神,在佛山祭祀龙神的仪式之一就是龙舟竞渡,这就是佛山龙舟竞渡的起源。
Dragon boat race has a long history and is widely circulated.There are many reports talking about its origin.The faith of Water God is thriving because of Foshan＇s geographical environment and its natural resources,and the dragon is the most important Water God.People must sacrifice the dragon if they want to pray for good harvest,and one of the rites for sacrificing is to develop dragon boat race,which is reported as the origin of Foshan dragon boat race.
