摘要
长期以来非结构化网格生成算法在水文建模中属于人力密集和耗费时间的方面,这主要是由于迭代过程的性质和专业网格生成软件与GIS的有限集成。文中介绍了网格生成软件集成到GIS平台的操作,还讨论了一些新方法来解决特征约束网格生成中的几个问题:对齐出现在多个GIS数据层中的共同地理特征;在GIS中重新定义顶点与均匀间距;在选定的GIS中细化网格;在GIS平台中高效可视化地生成网格。
Unstructured mesh generation has long been a labor-intensive and time-consuming aspect of hydrologic modeling. This is largely due to the iterative nature of the process and the limited integration between the specialized mesh generation software and GIS. This paper presents the integration of mesh generation software into a GIS platform and discusses on some novel approaches to several issues that arise in feature-constraint mesh generation:aligning common geographic features that appear in multiple GIS data layers, redefining vertices with uniform spacing along a GIS feature, refinement of the mesh around selected feature constraints, efficient visualization of generated meshes in the GIS platform.
