RESEARCH ON PERFORMANCES OF PURIFYING RURAL WASTERWATER OF BIOFILTER MEDIA USING QUARTZ SAND

摘要 采用自培养和生活污水中的细菌,对石英砂滤柱进行接种挂膜,研究了2种石英砂生物滤料分别在自然通风和厌氧条件下净化村镇污水的性能。结果表明,自然通风条件下细砂对浊度具有很好的去除效果,而粗砂除浊能力较差。接种的硝化细菌活性大、具有良好的脱氮能力,脱氮能力随HRT的延长而增强;HRT=10 d时2种石英砂对NH3-N的去除率都高达92%以上。生物膜具有一定的除COD的能力,HRT=10 d时2种砂的COD去除率为55%左右,除COD性能在较短的时间内已表现出来。细砂除磷效果较好,HRT=10d的去除率约55%左右,粗砂除磷效果较差,除磷性能要经历较长的时间才能反映出来。厌氧条件下2种石英砂生物滤料都没有除磷能力;但是都具有良好的除COD和脱氮性能,除COD和脱氮能力随HRT的延长而增强,HRT=6 d的COD去除率都高达93%以上,NO3--N去除率为50%左右。脱氮过程有NH3-N和N2产生,细砂的N2产率略高于粗砂;2种石英砂的NH3-N产量均低于N2产量。N2产率随HRT的增加而增加。 Both self-cultivating bacterias and bacterias in domestic sewage were inoculated and the biofilm had formed in quartz sand filters, the performances of two types of quartz sand medias purifying rural wastewater were studied under natural aerobic and anaerobic conditions, respectively. The results showed that fine sand had good effect of turbidity removal under natural aerobic condition, while coarse sand had weak turbidity removal effect. The inoculated nitrifying bacteria had high activities and NH3-N removal effect. Their nitrification increased with HRT extended and NH3-N removal efficiency was more than 92% when HRT was 10 d. In addition, the biofilm had certain effect of COD with their removal efficiency about 55% when HRT was 10 d. The ability of COD removal had been reflected in short HRT. Fine sand had about 55% phosphorous removal rate, which was higher than that of coarse sand by far,but the ability can be only reflected after long HRT. Under anaerobic condition, two sands have no phosphorous removal effect. However, they had relatively good effects of COD and nitrate nitrogen removal, which increased with time extended. When HRT was 6 d, COD removal efficiency was more than 93% and nitrate nitrogen removal efficiency was about 50%. During denitrification, NH3^-N and N2 were produced, with N2 yields higher than NH3^-N yields and increasing with HTR in two sands. N2 yield in fine sand was slightly higher than that in coarse sand.
