摘要
大舍建筑设计事务所为龙美术馆西岸馆塑造出艺术朝圣殿堂的形象,强调机构的权威性、藏品的艺术性与观赏的个人化体验。建筑师受场地的工业历史启发,采用伞状架构营造大尺度的展陈空间,以彰显构筑物的纯粹美感,消解艺术品的叙事延展,并引发与拱廊相关的符号学联想。在一切皆可为艺术的当下,用建筑物营造出灵韵的氛围,让艺术品自身直面观众。作品以建筑的语言回应了艺术及其相关性的问题。
Atelier Deshaus envisions the private Long Museum West Bund as a temple for art pilgrimage, emphasizing power of the institution, artistic value of its collection, and promoting viewer's experience. The architect pays homage to industrial heritage of the site through introducing canopy shaped structure to frame exhibition space, thus evoke references to archway images with iconographical implications. The design celebrates the aesthetic purity of structure, while containing narrative permeation of the art pieces. As a response to contemporary art that has proclaimed everything is possible, the building stages an aura-like atmosphere, forcing art work to face its viewer directly. As a statement, the architecture ultimately answers questions regarding art and its relevance today.
