摘要
作者提出，在拟建的国家科技情报计算机检索系统中，数据库文献应采用自然语言标引。作者论述了用自然语言标引的必要性和可行性，提出了我国科技情报计算机检索系统宜采用统一的整体情报检索语言的建议。
The author points out that in establishing the National Computer-based Retrieval System, to use the natural language to do indexing of literature should be taken into consideration. This paper makes a comparison of merits and demerits between the indexing by using natural language and controlled terms. Finally, the application oi a unified integrated information retrieval langguage in the above National Computer-based Retrieval System is proposed.
