摘要
在清嘉道年间,以著名书法篆刻家陈鸿寿为中心的一批文人、画家,与当时紫砂艺人合作,参与到紫砂壶的设计制作过程中,他们或在壶上题铭,或在壶上绘画,将文人化的审美观念与艺术趣味更为深入地融注于砂壶的创作中去,进一步提升了作为手工造物艺术的紫砂壶的艺术与审美价值,其中以陈鸿寿与杨彭年的合作尤为引人瞩目,他们所设计创制的紫砂壶被称为"曼生壶",历代文人与紫砂壶收藏家得之皆珍于拱壁,而陈鸿寿以艺术家身份对紫砂壶创作的深度介入,也成就了紫砂壶艺术发展史上的一个巅峰时期,具有里程碑式的划时代意义,"曼生十八式"也由此被后人津津乐道,并引以为传奇,陈鸿寿更以此闻名于后世,有关陈曼生生平的研究也方兴未艾,本文着重从设计的视角来反思"曼生壶"现象背后的历史,探讨陈鸿寿创制文人壶此一事件背后的价值与意义。
During the years of Jiadao regime in the Qing dynasty, a group of men of letters and painters centering upon Chen Hongshou, a famous Chinese calligraphers, participated in the design and craft of the purple-clay teapots in cooperation with some contemporary craftsmen. They either inscribed or painted on the teapots, infusing the teapot-making with more cultural aesthetics and artistic delights, and thus further increasing the artistic and aesthetic values of the purple-clay teapots as craftwork. "Mansheng teapots", a kind of purple-clay teapots designed and made by Chen Hongshou and Yang Pengnian, are treasured by writers and collectors of various dynasties. This paper probes into the history, value and significance behind the craft of "Mansheng teapots" with a focus placed on the perspective of design.
