"-0wat-"的时体之争在现代维吾尔语研究中由来已久。时制(tense)与体(aspect)的本质区别以及"-0wat-"与动词的近位关系决定了"-0wat-"属于体范畴成员,是典型的未完整体。"-0wat-"具有非完整性、持续性、动态性的体特征,是未完整体中典型的进行体标记。
There is much disagreement over whether ＂-0wat-＂ belongs to ＂tense＂ or ＂aspect＂ and it has been a long time since the debate in the research of Uyghur language. The difference between tense and aspect and the iconic proximity between ＂-0war-＂ and verbs determine the aspect feature of ＂-0wat-＂ , it is typically of the imperfective aspect. With non-integrity, persistence, dynamic characteristics, ＂-0wat-＂ is typical of the imperfective progressive marker
