摘要
蒋介石《西安事变日记》虽是陈布雷撰写《西安半月记》的蓝本,但《西安事变日记》并不是蒋氏在事变期间的逐日所记,而是事后补写的。《西安事变日记》叙事简略,内容存在错乱和缺失,《西安半月记》增添了许多材料,内容丰富完整,弥补了《西安事变日记》的不足,虽然极力表现蒋氏"人格"和"正气",但不存在大量造假成分,其整体史料价值较高。《西安事变日记》记载了《西安半月记》有意回避的周恩来与蒋氏会面等情节,凸显出较高的史料价值。
Though Chiang Kai she＇s The Diary of Xi＇an Incident is the chief source of Chen Bulei＇s Xi＇an Half-Month Record,Chiang＇s Diary is not the day-by-day record during the Xi＇an Incident,but he wrote up later after the event.The Diary of Xi＇an Incident was written briefly with a lot of confu-sion and deletions in its content,while Xi＇an Half-Month Record is rich with a lot of additional materi-als in content,thus making up the deficiency of The Diary of Xi＇an Incident.Although Xi＇an Half-Month Record shows greatly Chiang＇s charming personality and unyielding integrity,it has no forged elements and then enjoys high historic values.On the other hand,The Diary of Xi＇an Incident has, what Xi＇an Half-Month Record has deliberately avoided,the details about the meetings of Zhou Enlai and Chiang Kai-shek,thus making it a very important historic document.
