摘要
提出了一种加载超材料覆层的喇叭口相控阵天线以扩大天线的波束扫描范围。该相控阵天线工作于10 GHz,单元的周期间距为20 mm,相当于0.667个波长。当波束扫描到30°时,此相控阵天线出现栅瓣,限制了波束的扫描范围。超材料覆层结构可以调制喇叭口面的场分布,使辐射口面的相位分布更加精细,显著抑制了栅瓣电平,从而扩大了天线的波束扫描范围。加载了这种超材料覆层的相控阵天线,可以将波束扫描范围扩大15°。
A novel metameterials cover layer is proposed in this paper, in order to enhance the beam scanning range of waveguide phased array. The array antenna operates at 10 GHz with lattice of 20mm corresponding to 0. 667A. In this condition, there is a grid pattern scaaning to 30 degree which limits the array function. A metamaterials structure is proposed to modify the electric field leading to a uniform phase distribution, thus it is to restrain grid pattern level and enlarge the beam scanning range. The simulation results show that the beam scanning range can be improved 15 degree than original case.
