摘要
设计了一种适用于毫米波频段由微带平面电路过渡到波导传输线的气密型变换电路结构。在设计中采用一段波珠同轴金属探针插入矩形波导H面和一段矩形空气槽金属探针搭接50Ω微带线实现微带到波导的阻抗变换,该结构具有低损耗和可气密封装的特点。以Ka频段为例验证了该方法的有效性,背靠背测试结果显示:在26.5 GHz^40 GHz范围内插入损耗小于1.5 dB,回波损耗小于-15 dB。
A hermitically sealed microstrip circuits to waveguide transition for millimeter-wave application is proposed in the paper. In the design, a glass coaxial inserted in the H-plane of waveguide and a mental probe through the air rectangular slot are used to trans- form impedance from the 50 Ω microstrip line to the waveguide. The transition structure has low insertion loss and hermetic character- istics. A Ka-band transition is demonstrated for the validity of the structure. The measurements of a back-to-back waveguide-micros- trip-waveguide transition show that the insertion loss is less than 1.5 dB and the resturn loss is less than -15 dB.
