摘要
提出一种基于游程编码RLC(Run-Length Coding)的渐近式图像无损压缩算法。根据提出的转换法对二进制码流进行转换来调整二进制码流的顺序以提高数据的相关性,在此基础上利用新的基于RLC的编码算法对二进制码流进行编码。最后转换与编码过程不断迭代直到不能压缩为止。实验结果表明,本文提出的压缩算法既适用于各种纹理的图像,又能提高压缩比。
A lossless image compression algorithm based on run-length coding is proposed. The proposed algorithm flow includes the concrete steps: converting binary code sequence into new sequence with proposed transform rules; improving the data correlation by adjust binary code sequence; coding binary sequence as encoding method. It continues with the transform process and encoding process alternately repeatedly, so until the sequence can' t be compressed. The experimental result shows that the algorithm can not only be suitable to image with different texture , but also improve compression ratio.
