摘要
唐高宗在位的7世纪60年代,朝鲜半岛出现百济灭亡、唐罗留守军与百济复兴军鏖战、白江口之战,以及随后的高丽灭亡、新罗统一等一系列大事件。面对唐朝联合新罗对百济的军事行动,处于唐与朝鲜半岛交涉重要一方的高丽,由于要应付唐罗两方持续压力,内部矛盾激化,故对唐罗联合灭亡百济应对乏力,对百济复兴军覆亡作壁上观,白江口战时又企图坐收渔人之利默默缺席。在朝鲜半岛剧变的关键时刻,高丽由此前的强硬、高调变为碌碌无所作为,进而也加速了自身的灭亡。作为弱小的政权,当面对强大并处于上升阶段政权之时,一味采取强硬策略似并非最佳的策略选择。高丽与唐关系中前后截然不同的对应措施,导致最终灭亡其实也是理所当然的事情。
In the 760s when Emperor of Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty was in the reign, a series of significantevents happened in the Korean Peninsula, including the downfall of the Baiji kingdom, hard fighting between theTang garrison in Xinluo and the reviving troops of Baiji, the battle at the mouth of the Bai River, and the perish ofthe Gaoli kingdom. In face of the military actions of the Tang-Xinluo allies to Baiji, Gaoli as an important side inthe negotiation between the Tang Dynasty and Korean Peninsula coped weakly with the allies＇ actions to annihilateBaiji because it had to deal with continuous pressures from the Tang Dynasty and Xinluo and with acute internalcontradictions. Even worse, it watched the annihilation of the reviving troops of Baiji without offering any help andwas silently absent from the battle at the mouth of the Bai River attempting to take some unexpected gain. At thecritical moment of radical changes in the peninsula, Gaoli gave up its former tough and high-tuning strategies andbecame inactive and incapable, which sped up its downfall in the end. In face, Gaoli clearly different tactics incoping with its relations with the Tang Dynasty in the early and later days led necessarily to its final downfall.
