摘要
连续称重法测定种子或米粒的吸水率,一般采用滤纸吸除种子或米粒表面游离水。谷子米粒由于颗粒小,采用滤纸法容易粘米并损坏米粒,测定速度慢,效率低。本研究采用离心方法,将离心管底部打孔,设置不同转速梯度离心3min。以晋谷21为材料,设定米粒饱和吸水、不饱和吸水实验。研究确定了谷子米粒吸水率离心沥水测定方法的最佳方案为300rpm离心3min。
To test the water absorption rate of seeds or grains, filter papers are usually used to remove the free water from the surface of seeds or grains before weighing. Due to small size, millets of foxtail millet are easy to stick to filter papers or damaged during the removal process, which is inefficient. Here, we evaluated the potential to use centrifugal method to determine the water absorption rate of seeds. Using elite variety Jingu21 as material, soaked millets were centrifuged for 3min at different speeds with centrifuge tubes punched at the bottom with a sewing needle for five tiny holes. Experiments were carried out with the millets either saturated or unsaturated with water. The result showed that 300rpm for 3 rain was optimal for removing the free water from the surface of millet by centrifuging.
