光子晶体缺陷中掺入增益介质的小信号增益特性 被引量:2

摘要 详细推导了光在单层增益介质传播的传输矩阵,得到增益介质复折射率的具体表示形式。利用含增益介质的传输矩阵法研究在单缺陷一维光子晶体的缺陷层中掺入增益介质的小信号增益特性,分析了小信号增益受参量变化的影响规律。结果表明:在光子晶体缺陷层掺入一定增益系数的增益介质,当缺陷层两侧存在一个相匹配的高低折射率材料周期排列层数时,得到的小信号增益最大;否则,小信号增益减弱。增益系数小,要获得最大的小信号增益时,相匹配的介质排列周期层数就多,反之亦然。 The transfer matrix of light propagation in a gain medium was derived detailly, accurate expression of complex refractive index was obtained for gain medium. The small signal gain of 1 D single defect photonic crystal whose defect layer is doped with the gain medium, was studied by the transfer matrix method of gain medium, the effect of parameters in it was analysed. The results show that the defect layer of phoIonic crystal is doped with the gain medium of definite gain coefficient, the small signal gain is maximum when the matched periodic numbers of high/low refractive index layers exist on both sides of the defect layer; Otherwise, it decreases. If we want obtain the maximum small signal gain for less gain coefficient, the matched periodic numbers of layers must be more and vice versa.
