摘要
目前粤东高等教育发展的机遇与优势在于:1999年全国开始的高校阔招是重要契机;现实经济、社会发展的需要是内在的动因;并有其独特的优势和巨大的市场。加快粤东高等教育发展面临的困难和挑战在于本区经济、社会发展相对滞后;中小学基础教育发展水平和质量较低;现有高等教育办学体制问题突出。要抓住机遇,加快粤东高等教育发展:必须解放思想、转变观念,加快加大高教体制改革力度;以市场为导向,紧扣实际,全面创新。
The present thesis attempts, first of all, to make an analysis of the chance and superiority of developing higher education in the east of Guangdong in three aspects; the expansion of recruiment since 1999 bring good chance to the development of higher education; the present social and economical development provides dynamics to it and the development of higher education also has a huge market because of its own superiority. At the same time, it delves into the difficulties and challenges in the process of development which include the relative backwardness of local economy and social development, the poor quality of basic education and the problems existing in the present higher educational system. And finally it points out how to carry out the development. That is, on the one hand, to emancipate the mind, change the concept and speed up the reform. On the other hand, to innovate according to reality and under the market-oriented system.
