德莱塞的小说《嘉莉妹妹》的结构 ,以女主人公的活动为轴线纵向布局 ,具有时间流动上的连续性、空间移动的稳定性和人物活动的对照性 ,使得整个作品浑然一体 ,体现了现实主义小说所特有的力度与美。
The Dreisers novel sister Carrie is structured in a vertical order adopting the activities of the heroine as the axis.The continuity in time,stability in space and comparability in characters are the three characteristics of the novel,making it a unified entity.They also reflect the special strength and beauty of realistic literature.
