摘要
在新世纪里 ,中国高等学校应以江泽民同志“三个代表”的重要思想为指针 ,确立“以人才培养为根本”的教育观念以及“服务社会”的办学取向 ,注重社会主义精神文明建设 ,注重科学研究 ,把学校办成具有中国特色的社会主义文化建设阵地 。
In this new century, the institutions of higher learning in China should take the “three represent’s” put forward by Comrade Jiang Zemin as the guideline, the cultivation of talents as their fundamental work and “serving the society” as the orientation of school running. While attaching great importance to the construction of socialist ethical civilization and scientific researches, these institutions should endeavour to build itself into a basis of developing socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and bring up more successors for the country’s socialist construction who are developed all around, morally, intellectually and physically.
