摘要
主动网络是一种可编程的网络,用户可以对网络进行个性化的编程和设置。主动网络与传统的网络仅仅被动地传送字节流不同,它是“运行时刻可扩展的”。在主动网络体系结构中,可以快速动态地定制、配置新的网络服务和开发新的技术与协议,实现新的网络体系结构。加快了网络服务的革新步伐,提高了网络的性能,使得网络体系结构更灵活、更具有可扩张性。该文阐述了主动网络的产生背景、实现方案、体系结构和它的优点,并介绍了主动网络节点和主动网络路由器。
Active Network is a paradigm for data networks in which the network is designed not only to forward packets,but also to be dynamically programmed in order to support per-user services.It can be extended while running,and fastly be configured and managed.The network has the advantages of faster deployment ,customization of network services,equipped with new network protocols and architectures,etc.This paper presents the background,implementation,architecture and advantages of that network.The network nodes and routers are also focused on.
