The corrosion resistances of passivating films by various technologies were compared for zinc coatings of Nd Fe B permanent magnet. Results showed that corrosion resistance of Nd Fe B magnet depended on the thickness of zinc coating. Corrosion resistance was increased greatly by adding a few Ti(Ⅳ) ion to passivation bath. The best anticorrosion coating was the Zn Ni alloy plating.
